We've been pretty busy as the school year has come to a close. Katie had her end of the year Ballet Recital. She did such a wonderful job! She's grown up so much this year, she is more confident and has a magnetic personality!

We ordered Katie a new bedroom set, she picked it out herself..."Big Girl Bed"
Leah had her end of the year gymnastics party. She has made so many great friends on the team and looks forward to next season. She has started her Summer workout, she is practicing 16 hours a week and has set goals for herself. I'm glad she is still enjoying the sport! She ended the school year with excellent grades and comments from her teachers. She looks forward to 3rd grade because she can start joining clubs. She is intersted in playing an intstrument, singing in the choir and joining student council.
Katie had her Pre-K graduation this past Friday.
Katie has made many friends this year and has become such a social butterfly. She is a wonderful artist and loves writing letters to her friends and family. Katie's favorite subjects this year were, science, art and drama.

This past weekend we visited the Luray Caverns in VA.
It was pretty amazing...
Leah had done some research prior to our visit to the caverns and couldn't wait to find the "fried eggs." She was thrilled when she finally found them!
We also went through a garden maze, we had so much fun!
We also drove through Shenendoah State Park- Sky Line Drive was beautiful!
What a wonderful year, were looking forward to some family vacations and swimming this Summer! The girls will start swim lessons this Saturday. Leah is in an advanced class so she can learn how to dive and some strokes. Katie is in a beginner class. I should find out mid July, which school district I will be teaching in this Fall!!! Neal is enjoying his job, despite the commute. We are very greatful for our family and all the opporutnities we have been given.
