Leah had another practice meet this weekend...we always love going as a family to support Leah!! I'm so grateful for Neal who always entertains Katie, while I'm a nervous wreck and videotape! Lol! (Katie was sad because she wanted her laffy taffy and we wanted to take a picture).
The meet was in Fredrick, it was a beautiful drive out in the country...
So, this was Leah's last practice meet. During the practice meets she competes with local gyms. We will be going to a meet in Ocean city this weekend and she will be competing with a lot more gyms, they also only give out metals for the top 6 places and trophies for the top 3 places...she's been in the top three at the last two meets. She's been working so hard, so I hope she does great this weekend! My mom is flying in for the Ocean City meet we're staying Friday and Saturday night, it'll be a lot of fun!
Her team is doing awesome so far this season...good luck girls!!!
We did some Christmas shopping and found a tree. It's so much fun to take down the Thanksgiving decorations and put up Christmas decorations. Christmas is such a magical holiday!
The girls have been on good behavior, Leah tells us it's because she wants Santa to bring her gifts this year. *We visited santa this week and they had a long conversation,lol!
Even Riley is tired from all the fun this weekend!
Leah has done such a great job this season! I'm so impressed how focased and determined she is at such a young age! She has her last meet of the season Dec. 4th then she starts training Level 4, which means practices increase, to 3 days, 6 hours a week...
She makes the best faces when she is focasing!
Leah placed 2nd on Vault, Beam, and Bars. She placed 1st on Floor and Placed 2nd All-Around (she was only .5 away from the 1st place position) Her team took 1st place, go Win Win!
