Family Trip to New York

We took a trip to New York this weekend
(one of the perks of living in Maryland, were only 3 hrs. away!) We stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn. It was a great location! Here's a picture of 8th ave. from our hotel.

First, we went to Central Park, which was about 10 blocks from our hotel.

We couldn't believe How big Central Park was!!!

We also went to Central Park Z00, the girls really enjoyed running around and seeing the animals.

We did a lot of walking but we didn't mind there was so much to see!!

Time square was pretty amazing...

There were so many places to shop! One of our favorite stops was the candy store!

On our second day in New York, we decided to try the subway.

We went to Little Italy and China Town, wow!! Everyone was constantly trying to sell us something! At first it was a little overwhelming but we finally got into it and did some great bargain shopping!

We visited the financial district...it was pretty amazing to visit ground zero.

We took the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

It was beautiful ...what a view!!

We couldn't believe how much we were able to see in the short time we were there!! It was a great trip!
