Birthday Party at Pump it Up!

Saturday we went to a birthday party at Pump it up! Leah's friend Katie turned 5 yrs. old.

I think the adults played just as much as the kids. Our friends Devin & Melinda were there as well, they were hilarious racing each other on the obstacle course! We all had a good time!

Were glad Leah's been able to make friends here in Maryland.

Christmas 2008

We were very blessed this Christmas! Leah was the first to wake up Christmas morning...she ran into our room shouting, "Santa came, Santa came!!" So we woke Katie up and ran down stairs...Santa had eaten all the cookies and milk we left. Santa also left a thank you letter for the girls. He filled the stockings and left some surprises for everyone! This year Leah was so excited!! She was tearing open presents and screaming with excitement! Katie was excited but it wasn't because of the presents but because of the candy in her stocking. Neal had to open her presents because she wasn't too interested, all she did was eat two chocolate Santa's. At one point Neal tried to take on of the chocolate Santa's out of her hands so she would open her gifts and she cried! LOL! The girls spent the rest of the day playing with their toys and eating their goodies. We are so grateful this year to be healthy, have a job and a home. We are even more grateful for our family and friends in our lives, Merry Christmas!!

The Lights at the Washington D.C. Temple

By the time Neal got home from work and we got the kids fed and changed, we didn't make it to the Temple until 8:00 last night...And in my rush I forgot to bring my camera!!! I did take pictures on my cell phone but I couldn't figure out how to get them on the computer. It's a bummer because the lights were beautiful!! They had a live Nativity outside, and amazing lights around the Temple grounds. The visitors center was packed and there was a huge line for a concert that was playing down stairs. We just walked around and looked at the Christmas tree displays, the reflections room and the girls watched "Mr. Kruger's Christmas". Sorry no pictures!!

Christmas Fun!

The kids and I are having fun doing Christmas activities...There have been so many Christmas programs and activities going on the last couple of weeks. I want to keep the fun and excitement up these next few days before Christmas! We made sugar cookies, a Nativity and some crafts. We are planning on taking the girls to the Temple tomorrow night to see the lights and go to the visitors center. I really love this time of year because it feels so magical. It's neat to see how so many people stop and turn their hearts and minds towards remembering the Savior. I feel so much gratitude and love for my family and friends!

Wesley Grove Pre-K Christmas Program

Leah had her Christmas Program today. She started the show front in center and sang her heart out! We took a lot of pictures but most of them came out blurry, sorry we don't have a lot of pictures to post! (We need to get a new camera!)

When it was time for the Nativity Scene the parent's helped get the children dressed. Leah was so cute in her moon out fit!!

We video taped the whole program and came home and watched it as a family. It was fun to watch Leah, what a ham bone!! We are so proud of you Leah!!

I love the Holidays!

Last Friday we rented a Christmas movie, ordered pizza and decorated our Christmas Tree. This is such a fun time of year!

Leah has her school Christmas program this Wednesday night. She also has a part in the nativity scene, she is the moon. I had a lot of fun trying to come up with a costume and make sure Leah feel's beautiful! I ended up buying her a dress that was grey and had sparkles all over. I painted a large moon with glitter that she can hold (I'll post pictures on Wednesday)

I just love my girls! They are growing up so fast, I love to see them play together! Katie can't get enough of her big sister Leah! Katie loves the lights and screams bee! bee! Every time she sees a Christmas tree.
