My Baby is 3yrs. old!!

My sweet Katie turned 3 yrs. old this weekend!! She is such a fun, happy little girl! We love you baby!! Doesn't she look so grown up??!!

She loves Tinkerbel and her favorite color is purple...

She loves to play and have fun...we took her to Dave and Busters, she loved playing the games!

We got toegther with some friends...it was a lot of fun!

Stephanie and Holly will be moving...I'm bummed that since we've moved to Maryland, no one seems to stick around,. But I am grateful for the friendships we've made, hopefully everyone will keep in touch!!

What a cute bunch!!

All I could think of was, this day would have been perfect if the Osterhouts were here!! (We miss you guys!!)

Neal's Fishing Trip!

Neal and some friends chartered a boat, "Jam Man" in Lewis, Delaware. The view looks great!! Neal hasn't gone fishing since we moved here from Florida...They left on Friday and he came home late Saturday night. He had a lot of fun!!

I didn't have any pictures of Neal holding the fish he caught since he was the one taking the pictures. But here's Geoff...

Here are the fish Neal brought home...the fish he caught are called Tau Tog. He also caught a Star Fish, Leah was so excited!!!

We all enjoyed eating the fish. We cooked them blackened and grilled with onions, garlic and tomatoes, yum yum!!

Picture Day!!

Today Leah and Katie had their class pictures! Leah will be having her Kindergarten Graduation June 11th. Leah took pictures in her cap and gown as well as took her class picture. She looked so grown up today!! Katie and Leah had so much fun taking sibling pictures together. They picked their own outfits...you can really see their individual personalities by the outfits they chose. I love these girls!!!

1/2 Marathon!!

The 1/2 Marathon was in Morgantown, PA . It was very windy and cold, but the view while running was beautiful! I ran 13.1 miles in 2hrs. and 5 min. I would have liked to finish under 2 hrs...but there were some wicked hills and it was a rough course! So I'm happy with my time. This is a picture of the girl's I've been training with... I was so excited to have my family with me this weekend, cheering me on!!

All the girls and their families drove to PA Friday, the race was Saturday morning...

After the race we went back to the hotel to check out and had lunch...We did a little shopping, the highlight for the kids was the horse and buggy ride...

It was so beautiful taking a ride and learning about the Amish Community...

We ended the trip with some yummy ice cream...we had a wonderful weekend!

Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend together as a family! Saturday morning I ran 10 miles(the 1?2 marathon is next weekend!) We went to a "Build-A-Bear" party for one of Katie's friends from school. Neal put new brake pads on the Durango, we ate at P.F. Changs and went to the fair Saturday night, fun fun!!

Easter Sunday we slept in, which is unheard of in our home!! The girls woke up to a surprise, Easter Baskets!! We had a big breakfast and afterwards went on an Easter Egg Hunt. Neal had a lot of fun hiding the eggs...here are the girls with their Easter Baskets (their also holding the stuffed animals their Grandma and Grandpa sent them, thank you!) We spent the afternoon relaxing, watching a bit of conference and eating a yummy dinner (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, who sent us our entire meal from the Honey Baked Ham Store, thank you!!) It was a wonderful weekend! Happy Easter!!

Ocean City Trip

Leah turned 6yrs. old on Friday! I didn't think I would be so emotional but I was...She is such a wonderful little girl and I love her so much! I can't believe how fast time has gone! Leah and Katie off to school...

Leah had a few wishes on her birthday...

1). An American Girl Doll Bed and any accessories I would buy her...

2). She wanted to stay in a nice hotel...

3). She wanted a princess cake....

(Friday night we left for Ocean City, to celebrate Leah's birthday and Leah had a Gymnastics competition)

This view made me miss Florida!!

4). Leah wanted to order room service for breakfast...

5). Leah wanted to go swimming...


(The girls had so much fun...we went swimming Saturday morning and later that evening.)

6). Leah wanted to go to the beach...

(We miss Florida beaches and we didn't know what to expect in Ocean City. It was beautiful, I didn't want to leave!!)

We walked down the board walk and enjoyed going shopping, eating junk food and people watching.

Sunday, Leah had her Gymnastics meet at Twisters Gymnastics.

This is a picture of the Level 2and Level 4 team.

Leah did so awesome! She placed 2nd on Floor with a 9.2, 3rd on beam with a 8.9 and was the bar champion with a 9.4. She placed 3rd all-around and her team won 1st place, go Win Win Gymnastics!!

We had a wonderful time in Ocean City! I'm so grateful we were able to go on this trip and spend time together as a family. Now It's back to work, classes, and I'm trying to get ready for a 1/2 marathon I'm training for in April, Fun Fun!!

Gymnastics Party

Win Win Gymnastics's level 2 team had a party after practice...Leah's been training with this group of girls for over a year, it's great to see the relationships building. Here's Katie being funny so I will take a picture of her...

Leah has an upcoming meet in Ocean City...I will be taking the level 2 team, they were entered into the team competition, Good Luck Girls!!

Snowed In Again!

It's snowed already 25-30" and it's still snowing...We decided to get a head start clearing our driveway. This is how it looked out our front door.... Leah trying to get through the snow...

I'm pretending to do some work...

Leah didn't last long outside...So while Katie took a nap and Leah watched a movie, Neal and I had a good time shoveling and pushing each other in the snow! We got the front pathway, driveway and part of the sidewalk cleared. It's still coming down hard but at least tomorrow we won't have to do as much work...we heard on the news that our county and others have power outages, were greatful our power is o.k.!

Katie's first day at Gymnastics!!

Today was Katie's first day of Gymnastics class. We were so excited for her and I wasn't sure how she would like it...I was so excited to see how much Katie loved it!!! After warm-up and stretch, they had a circuit set up were they had to jump, climb, walk a beam and do various things. Katie loved it and went around the circuit 5-6 times until the teacher said let's move onto the Tumble Track.
