Night Sledding

Yesterday was so fun, all we did was play! Leah and I went and bought a sled yesterday afternoon (we needed to upgrade from the toy chest lid). Rain and all, Leah and I took advantage of the snow and ice. When Neal came home from work we put Katie to sleep and played some more. Between the screaming and laughing hopefully our neighbors didn't mind the noise, lol!

Snow Day

School's were canceled today due to the snow and ice conditions. So I fixed breakfast for the girls and then we went sledding outside! We had a lot of fun, Leah and I have been dieing to sled down the hill in our backyard. We don't have a sled yet so we used the lid on the girls toy chest. Because it was so icy we were flying down the hill, LOL!! Good Times!!

Adventure's in Florida!!

Jackie had her shower this weekend and I made a mad dash to Florida! I took a plane to New York, a plane to Chicago and finally Tampa! It was definitely worth the trip all day Friday to make Jackie's shower, see my girls and be back home! I didn't care that it was only in the 60's (even though coming from Maryland that's warm!) I was determined to wear flip-flops and shorts! I love my girls!!! I had so much fun visiting the gym and going to practice Friday night and Saturday morning.

Jackie is about 34 weeks...You look great Jackie!! The shower was so much fun, I enjoyed visiting with everyone, it was like old times! I love you guys!!

I can't believe how much the girls have grown in 8 months!!!

I loved working with the girls again!!! Go Bay City!

Katie Lynn!!

Katie is such a funny kid! She has this thing for dressing up. This is her everyday: she has someones shoes on, a hat, and a t-shirt around her neck... She raids every ones drawers!! Besides dressing up, Katie always has a smile and giggles a lot!! We Love you Katie!!

Brrrr!!

So , the girls really wanted to get out of the house today and play. I bundled the girl's up and we went outside. Holy Cow Batman!! We lasted about 2 min., it was sooooo cold!! Well at least I got some cute pictures of the girls in their winter clothes. This is for all my friends in sunny Florida!! Don't you wish you were here??!!

The Science Museum

We had a nice weekend. We tried out our new Fondue Kit Friday night...I stuck to the easiest recipe, which is melting chocolate chips and evaporated milk. It was soooo yummy!!

Saturday we went to one of the many museums in D.C. with some friends. Eventually we will get to all of them, it will be fun exploring everything in Maryland!

Go Bay City!!

Great job Bay City Girls!!! I heard you had a great meet this weekend...I love the new leotards, there beautiful!!! I miss you guys and I'm so proud of you!!

Birthday Party at Pump it Up!

Saturday we went to a birthday party at Pump it up! Leah's friend Katie turned 5 yrs. old.

I think the adults played just as much as the kids. Our friends Devin & Melinda were there as well, they were hilarious racing each other on the obstacle course! We all had a good time!

Were glad Leah's been able to make friends here in Maryland.

Christmas 2008

We were very blessed this Christmas! Leah was the first to wake up Christmas morning...she ran into our room shouting, "Santa came, Santa came!!" So we woke Katie up and ran down stairs...Santa had eaten all the cookies and milk we left. Santa also left a thank you letter for the girls. He filled the stockings and left some surprises for everyone! This year Leah was so excited!! She was tearing open presents and screaming with excitement! Katie was excited but it wasn't because of the presents but because of the candy in her stocking. Neal had to open her presents because she wasn't too interested, all she did was eat two chocolate Santa's. At one point Neal tried to take on of the chocolate Santa's out of her hands so she would open her gifts and she cried! LOL! The girls spent the rest of the day playing with their toys and eating their goodies. We are so grateful this year to be healthy, have a job and a home. We are even more grateful for our family and friends in our lives, Merry Christmas!!
